Your tasks will include:

You will be involved in data analysis in close collaboration with international and national partners

You will analyze and integrate various types of generated data (e.g., next-generation sequencing, large-scale genomic, transcriptomic, proteomic, metabolomic, and phenotypic data) using cutting-edge technologies, such as machine learning

You will perform transcriptomic and epigenetic analysis

You will present scientific results at project meetings and international conferences and publish them in high-ranking scientific journals

Your Profile:

Master and PhD in biology, genomics or bioinformatics with strong experience in applied omics research

Knowledge in programming languages and statistical analysis

Experience with the analysis and integration of high throughput data such as NGS and metabolite profiling

Willingness to complement and collaborate with existing research units at the research center

Proactive, independent and solution-oriented way of working

Excellent English skills, both written and spoken

We offer you an exciting and varied role in an international and interdisciplinary working environment. The position is for a fixed term of 2 years, with possible long-term prospects. Salary and social benefits will conform to the provisions of the Collective Agreement for the Public Service (TVöD-Bund), pay group 13, depending on the applicant’s qualifications and the precise nature of the tasks assigned to them.
